About the event

What is RJ? What is it's societal impact? How do I teach this to young people?

In this 90 minute session you'll get an in-depth analysis of the reproductive justice framework coined by Black Women/Femmes, including Kimberly Crenshaw's "intersectionality," along with a brief comparison of Reproductive Health, & Rights movements.  With a firm understanding of what RJ is and why it is necessary, we'll move through the Reproductive Justice timeline itself, holding space to process the feelings that may arise, and discuss how to integrate this into your sex education curriculum.
